Sea Pines, Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, US

We just got back from a great week at 11 South Live Oak! We are a family of 6, older kids in 20's and 2 Choc labs. The house was perfect for us . It is big in the areas that are most used and very comfortable. The kitchen is completely outfitted which was appreciated, as we ate both in and out. The pool was our most favorite part by far!! Water was perfect temperature and very clean. Pool deck was large and great for happy hours, card games, grilling and night swimming! Location was 8 min to beach, easy walk. Carol was great to work with and very helpful even though we have been going to HH for 15 yrs. We will be back!!

This is our second time renting The Beach House. Plenty of space, the layout is perfect for all ages, huge kitchen. The pool and back yard are beautiful and a very quiet area. Beach wagon, chairs and toys provided are a huge plus. Easy walk to beach. Owner very attentive, easy to reach and check in and out so easy. So appreciate being able to have our dog travel with us since HHI so dog friendly. Would love to return in future.

We just loved our time at the Beach House. It felt like we were staying in the home of friends. It is spacious, immaculate, and beautifully appointed. Another reviewer said the pictures do not do it justice, and that is quite true! The sun streams through its windows with lovely views from the living room to the pool area and golf course beyond. It is also outfitted with anything and everything we could have wanted. We enjoyed many meals at home, prepared in the huge and well stocked kitchen, and we also enjoyed its proximity to the Beach Club for a few meals there. Its location couldn't be better! We also had the good fortune to meet Carol and Gary, who are as wonderful as the house. It simply couldn't have been a better experience, and we are planning to return next year!

This property is in a perfect location in Sea Pines just inside the gates. Pool and grounds are great for a large group and wonderful if you have pets. The house is spread out so if you have two families there is privacy with a first and second floor master / en suite. Live Oak is a very open and sunny street and you are just a 5 - 7 minute walk to the beach. The owner was extremely responsive and helpful throughout the whole process and during our stay. We will be back!

This is the 3rd time that we have rented in Sea Pines, and this home was by far the best! The location was perfect. The pool has sun most of the day with a lovely view of the golf course. It was only a short walk to the beach and we took our dog for a walk there every day. Since the house is on a dead end street, it is very peaceful. The house was spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. We will definitely be back!

This was our third year in this lovely home with our children and grandchildren. We love the pool and the peaceful surroundings. The kids love watching the golfers out the window. We always rent bikes and ride around the lagoons and to the beach (5min) and to Lawton Stables, where the kids enjoy the animals and horses! Carol and Gary have the house fully equipped with everything you need. The house is always neat and clean, and start up supplies give you a chance to unpack and unwind before the big grocery trip. We enjoyed several trips to the Harbour Town Lighthouse, once by biking. There is a great playground there for active children. There were ample golfing and shopping opportunities close too! We love this vacation home and plan to stay again next year!

My family and I vacationed at Sea Pines .Our rental house was just perfect .Carol saw to everything. Kitchen was stocked with all necessities ,even a Keurig which we requested .We all ,especially our 3 year old grandchildren ,loved the big pool .A nice location for going to the beach .Mornings were spent watching the golfers from the patio .Carol went out of her way to accommodate us .She even suggested a baby sitting service so we could spend an evening at the jazz corner. Everything was just right .We thank her for sharing her house .Hoping for a return visit soon.

This is a fabulous vacation home. The rooms are large, well-furnished, well laid-out, and have amazing amounts of storage space. This was my seventh vacation rental at HHI and there are so many superlatives to give this house: best-equipped kitchen. largest, best-furnished pool deck (and the hammock beside it is a real treat), cleanest (we did not see one bug inside the whole week, which is a first for SC in August), most amenities provided (pool towels, pool floats, toiletries, etc.). Add the upgraded appliances and the outstanding communication with the owners, and you just can't go wrong.

We absolutely loved this home! The location is perfect: it's close enough to walk to the beach and great for riding bikes, yet very quiet. The house is even more beautiful than in the photos and the views are amazing. We loved being able to lounge by the pool and have our dog with us. We had such a relaxing week that we're already dreaming of our return!

We just stayed for 10 days at 11 South Live Oak. The house was great and the location wonderful. The pool overlooking the golf course is beautiful. Easy short walk to the beach. Also it was so nice to be able to bring our little toy poodle along with us. Carol was great to work with and responded immediately to any of our questions. Great escape from Minnesota winter!

We have been to Hilton Head many years, but this year was the best year we have ever experienced, and it was because this home is so ideally located and wonderfully decorated. My husband and I took our son and daughter and their families, each has a 2 y.o. son. The boys loved the pool, and it was so nice being so close to the ocean, so we could go back in for meals and naps easily. We had so much in in the evening walking along the road and golf course and letting the boys run and play. They saw Egrets, Great Blue Herons and Alligators every day! The house has everything you could need for comfort and preparing food. We called about a light being out and it was taken care of very quickly. It was easy to book, and Gary and Carol provided us with so much information, we did more than we usually do! I don't think you will find a nicer couple to work with than Carol and Gary. I loved walking to the lagoons near the house along the golf course and taking pictures of all the different birds. You are just minutes from Sea Pines for shopping, dining, golfing, and of course the Salty Dog Cafe. As a matter of fact one day the girls and their sons walked several blocks and caught a trolley to Sea Pines, just so the boys could ride the trolley. We had a fabulous time and have already booked again for nest spring!

This was by far the most beautiful rental we have ever rented in Hilton Head. And it is even dog friendly too! My two chocolate labs enjoyed the house as much as we did. The house is beautiful and pristine. We had three couples and my teenage daughter in the house. The house is so big it is possible to get lost. There are two beautiful master bedrooms- one on the first floor and one on the second floor. The second floor is like its own separate living space. My husband and I were on the first floor. When we were up later than the rest of the group, the second floor couldn’t hear any noise. They didn’t even hear my dogs bark in the middle of the night. The kitchen is one of the most fully stocked kitchens I have ever seen. Everything you could possible need to cook a family dinner is at your disposal. The pool was beautiful, very relaxing, located right on a golf course. Carol and Gary were the most amazing people to work with. The wealth of information they provided was so helpful. We ate at three of the restaurants they recommended- Salty Dog, Red Fish and Michael Anthony’s. Great choices, excellent food, I would recommend them again. The walk to the beach is less than 8 minutes just as Carol promised. At Carol’s suggestion we walked ½ mile up the beach to the Sea Pines Beach Club and enjoyed mojitos at the bar. Thank Carol and Gary for sharing your beautiful home with us. All of enjoyed a relaxing, wonderful vacation week. I ever sensed that my two chocolate labs were sad to be home and had dreams about 11 South Live Oak. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone. You will not be disappointed.

We stayed in this house for a week with four adults, one child and a dog - and it was the perfect spot for our family. We loved being able to bring our dog with us on vacation, so it was a great choice and loved the fenced in yard. We had more than enough space, and the home could easily have accommodated an additional family with children. We loved the pool (perfect size, very well maintained) - my daughter swam every day! The house was a great location in Sea Pines. Close enough to the entry gate, so it didn't take forever to drive from the island bridge to the house. But it was still easy to bike everywhere in Sea Pines, and get to Harbour Town without much trouble at all. The Beach Club is an easy walk from the home, as well. The actual beach isn't too far, and we made the walk daily. It helped that the house is equipped with a wagon for hauling beach stuff (this was a nice touch!). I also loved having the golf course view - so the location for our family needs was quite perfect! The home had plenty of bathrooms, and it was great having two rooms with a dedicate, private bath. The open floor plan between the living and dining room, and with the kitchen just nearby, allowed for fun family evenings and made the first floor very social. We ended up eating in more often than we expected, since it was such a great set-up. The homeowners were super easy to work with, very responsive, and we would definitely rent this home again. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at your beautiful home. The furnishings, surroundings, and outdoor living made it so relaxing and inviting. And talk about having fun!! Our dogs had a blast and have been asking every day, "When are we going back, ruff". They loved running around and around the swimming pool and looking at nature. Thanks again for a wonderful time and allowing us to share your home with our pets. Also, be sure and let the staff know how clean and well kept the property was during our visit. This is one of the most beautiful and well maintained homes we have ever stayed in at Sea Pines - or anywhere for that matter! It is so comfortable and equipped with anything you could ever need to enjoy our vacation. The location is great - quick access to the beach and the gate. Lots of space for everyone to spread out or be together in one room. The pool is great with plenty of sun exposure. Carol was fabulous to work with and they are so nice to open up their home to our 4 legged family members because they like to go to the beach, too! We really cannot say enough good things about the house and hope to be back many more times!

We rented this house for a family vacation. Large enough for all.never on top of each other. Large pool and swimming area that 4 grandkids couldn't get enough of. Great location. The very large kitchen was great for family gathering. A separate game room was a plus. It was a perfect choice adults and grandkids alike! Carol ( the owner) is a joy to work with. A very worthy 5 star experience!

We just got back from our 3rd visit to this home. We have already rented for 2018. We love the location (close to the beach and the Forest Preserve) and layout of this house. Our children and grandchildren come for a long weekend and it fits everyone comfortably. The fenced in backyard is a big plus for our dogs. Carol is so easy to work with. Although we never have had any problems, she always checks in to see if everything is OK. Each year we rent, she has done more improvements to this home. We are already looking forward to our next visit.
