Sea Pines, Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, US

We have been traveling to HHI for many years. We have spent many hours searching the internet for "the perfect beach house" as our rental criteria is a bit challenging. We prefer a pet friendly home with a private pool that is well appointed, clean and in a desirable location. This was our second year staying in property belonging to Carol and Gary. They are kind, professional, promptly available for questions (regarding the property or otherwise) and truly take a personal interest in making sure that their tenants have a special vacation experience. We feel as though 6NLO is "our perfect beach house" and plan to return for many years.

We have just recently returned from a perfect week at 6 North Live Oak! My family and I have been coming to Hilton Head for the past 8 years and just love Sea Pines. We have stayed in several rentals over the years that were all very nice, but none compared to 6 NLO, it was perfect!! From the moment we walked in we felt right at home! 6NLO is very warm and inviting, the décor is beautiful and the home is stocked with everything you could imagine, right down to beach toys! Oh and the pool....AMAZING!! Sometimes it was hard to leave the beautiful pool to head out to the beach! Not only is the home perfect, but Gary & Carol allowed us to bring our dog with us, to some they are just pets, but to us he is part of the family. In my rental experice you sometimes have to worry about the homes that allow pets, but that is not the case with 6 NLO! Dog Lover or not you will LOVE this house. It is literally minutes to the beach and very close to Harbor Town and South Beach, you can't go wrong! On top of the greatness of the house the owner is amazing as well! She was always available to answer any questions I had (and I had a lot ;). She spells everything out for you in her Welcome Letter, which is very helpful. We had a great house for the week which made for a perfect vacation. We will definitely be returning next year!! :)

This was our first stay at 6 N Live Oak, but we hope to return soon! Carol is a delight to work with and very attentive to any questions. The home had everything we needed and more. The pool and spa are amazing and one of the nicest pools we have encountered! We so appreciated being able to bring our dog with us and it was perfect having the fenced area around the pool. We had a wonderful week in this beautiful home!

This is our third stay at N Live Oak and it did not disappoint. In fact, we have already reserved the house for next year. Carol is great to work worth and genuinely cares about your experience at her home. The bright, sunny pool and patio with a top quality gas grill provide the perfect spot for relaxing and cooking dinners with family and friends. And our dogs love the view! The spacious kitchen is fully equipped and you'll find everything you need throughout. The Sea Pines Beach Club is minutes away and the beach is walking distance. This is a special home that is very well cared for and is a treat for us to visit each year. Thank you Carol and Gary for another great stay!

First let me start that normally I am not a person who blogs, tweets or posts but in this case I will make an exception to my rule. This year was our 2nd visit to 6 No Live Oak and it was nothing short of spectacular. This home is truly amazing. From the light and airy interior to the stunning patio and pool. We had the honor of staying 2 full weeks and had an amazing time. The owner, Carol is wonderful to work with and you know from this house that she takes pride in her property. We come as a family vacation and have booked already for next year. I highly recommend this property to all who plan to visit the beautiful location of Sea Pines SC

We just returned home from our Hilton Head family vacation and our second stay at 6 North Live Oak. We have been going to the island for years, but just discovered this beautiful home last year when we were looking for a place for our family to gather, relax, and enjoy a week away together. Perfection! We enjoyed spending time around the pool/spa, biking around Sea Pines, walking to the beach, and returning every time to this place that felt like our home away from home. Everything is there from every day household necessities to the unexpected things that make a vacation stay especially nice. It is always hard to leave Hilton Head, but it was even harder to leave this year. We so enjoyed our stay at 6 North Live Oak, and know that once again, it made our trip to the island a fantastic experience. We definitely plan to return to 6 North Live Oak. Carol, the owner, is wonderful and so easy to work with in every way. She and her husband know what it takes to provide a home where guests feel welcomed from the moment they step through the front door. Our family continues to rave about our week at 6 North Live Oak. We all consider the house a "real find," and a wonderful place to build beautiful family memories.

From the very beginning of inquiring about her rentals, throughout the entire process- Carol is so wonderful to work with. This was my very first trip to Hilton Head, so I truly did not know just how wonderful a vacation destination this is, but honestly it would not be nearly as PERFECT without staying in one of Carol and Gary's gorgeous homes!! The home is even more beautiful in person. Everything from the location, to the decor, the beautiful and very private backyard with amazing pool and spa, to looking out the front door across to the lagoon and seeing nature and wildlife as I have never seen it before. I cannot think of a more beautiful and relaxing place to spend your vacation. We have just returned and I'm already ready to book my trip for this year!! I believe the thing that sets Carol and Gary's properties apart from any other rental is of course their AMAZING homes, the gracious way that they love their animals and understand how important it is to be able to bring our furry family members with us, and the details and attention they give each and every one of us that has had the pleasure of getting to stay with them. The house is immaculate, the location is serene, and Sea Pines itself had everything we could even want within just a few minutes drive, What an amazing experience!! We had an absolutely awesome time staying at 6 North Live Oak. We also had the privilege and delight of meeting Carol and Gary in person, as they were in town working on another of their rental homes. Wonderful people! A special thanks to them for sharing their beautiful home. The location and accommodations are simply perfect! We could not have asked for anything more for our vacation stay in Hilton Head. This was our second time at HHI, and we definitely plan on coming back for future stays in one of Carol and Gary's homes. Thanks again Carol and Gary!

We just completed our stay with our two daughters and their families (included 4 grand children). This house was perfect for our family. Plenty room, had al that we needed, close to beach and beach club, golf and a fabulous pool. Carol was so nice from the very start of the reservation and through the whole rental. The outdoor umbrella at the pool was not working and she had one sent out right away. Everyone loved our time there and would all want to go back. Let me begin by saying that we meant to rent from Carol and Gary in September of 2017 - but Hurricane Irma had other ideas. Instead of having to worry about making the long trip to HHI knowing we might have to turn back and go home, Carol made it so easy for us. She contacted us and told us to stay home and be safe - our refund was in the mail. We so appreciated that, and knew that we wanted to rent from her when next we had the chance. This house has everything you need - especially if you have a dog. The grassy area is fantastic - there is plenty of room there and it is fenced in. This is important since we did see several alligators while we were in Sea Pines. There is no need to worry about that when letting your dogs out at this house. The pool is by far the nicest pool at any home we have rented. The pool area itself is private and peaceful, and the view is amazing. The house is large and has room for even a large family to spread out. We didn't need a thing. Carol called to ensure that everything was satisfactory, and of course it was. She responds to emails and calls right away. Never has a property owner gone to such lengths to make us feel at home. We will definitely rent from Carol again. Many thanks!

6 N. Live Oak may be our favorite house we’ve ever stayed in. Location was great, pool was great, house was great, view of the golf course was great, quiet street and dog walking routes were great. We’ve been vacationing in Hilton Head off and on for 25 years - we’ve stayed in many different communities - and by far we love Sea Pines the most and this beautiful home has been one of our very favorites! Carol was so great to interact with - so quick to respond to any questions, ahead of and during our stay. The house was clean, comfortable, with a well stocked kitchen and so many thoughtful details! The location was perfect - a quick walk and even quicker bike ride to a beautiful, expansive beach. In this crazy pandemic time we hesitated even going but this was exactly what we needed - a clean, comfortable home close to a wide open beach with a beautiful pool we could come back and relax in with gorgeous golf course views (AND we were able to bring our pup who was in heaven on the beach!) Carol and Gary - thank you so much for sharing your beautiful hone! We can’t wait to come back!

We had an absolutely wonderful time at this beautiful house in a perfect location. The house has everything one could need, including a fabulous fully stocked kitchen. The location is perfect, right on the golf course, but only a short walk to the beach. The closest beach to the house seemed less crowded than many of the other areas of the beach we walked through. The pool is large and even when all of eight of us were in it at the same time, it never felt crowded. We stayed in late September and paid to have the pool and spa heated. It was worth every penny! The kids loved being in the pool even on cool days and the parents and grandparents enjoyed the spa in the evening. It was perfect. Carol the owner was great. She was easy to communicate with and responded to all of my queries quickly. This is a great vacation home that we can't wait to return to!

We enjoyed our stay at this house so much! We had plenty of room to spread out, and the layout of rooms helped with privacy and quiet. And we enjoyed the pool deck every day, with the grill, lounge chairs and views of the golf course. This was a wonderful house and we’d love to say again.

We loved staying at Live Oak so much, and the single level was much appreciated, that we are going to reserve another property from Carol in 2023. The house was the best equipped, cared for, cleaned house we have rented in YEARS. So impressed with the beach toys, games, amenities, including the variety and amount of cooking utensils! (Amazing) “connected tv”, combined it was all so essential to allowing EVERYONE, from 8-69, to relax. The heated pool and spa overlooked the gorgeous fairway and just added to the sense of tranquility. The trees added some crucial shade even though it was quite hot, as expected. It made all the difference. Recommend everyone consider this property for their vacation needs.
